Atlanta has long been a powerhouse in hip-hop, home to some of the most iconic rap talents the world has ever seen.

From T.I. to Ludacris, the city continues to set trends and define hip-hop culture. Adding his voice to the conversation, 21 Savage recently shared his list of the top lyricists from the ATL.

Appearing on the "DeepCut podcast", the rapper was asked to rank Future, Lil Baby, JID, Young Thug, and himself based solely on lyrical ability.

Unsurprisingly, 21 Savage placed himself at the top of the list. He ranked JID as second, followed by Young Thug, Lil Baby, and Future.

During the conversation, 21 Savage explained his choices:
"I'm number one. Based off of lyrics? Okay, yeah, I'm number one. Lyrics, JID, number two. Thug, number three. Baby, number four. Pluto, number five. Just off of lyrics. Now, if it's off song-making, Pluto would be number one. But just off of lyrics, yeah, I'm number one off lyrics."

He said, referring to Future by his nickname. He also clarified that his rankings would change if the focus was on songwriting rather than lyrical skill.
