Lil Durk Claim That He Feel Himself Bigger Than Drake

LIL DURK the Chicago native rapper, is on top of the world at this moment, because of the music that he is producing. This rapper's career has grown and gone to a new level when he releases his new album " 7220 " and he is looking to go even higher. A lot of fans say that DRAKE helped LIL DURK to grow and reach the level at which he is now, because of the single that they released together  " LAUGH NOW, CRY LATER," which peaked at No.2 on the BILLBOARD HOT 100.

After that, the OVO boss decides to give DURK a major look at his record-breaking " CERTIFIED LOVERBOY " album last year. However, LIL DURK says that he feel's himself at another level right now where he surpassed even DRAKE in a certain demographic of rap fans at least, He said: " Shit, to us, in this muthafucka, we bigger than DRAKE, you know what I'm saying?  He continues with expressing himself during his interview with " GILLIE DA KID AND WALLO " on the " MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME PODCAST. " He said: " We touch people; DRAKE at a  rate where he can stay in the fucking house if he wants to. But Nah, shout out to him. He touches the youth. That is one thing about him. He touched us and got us hotter than what the fuck we were. But a lot of people can't say that a lot of these motherfuckers don't even know him; a lot of people he talks to don't know me."
He adds, " I'm in this, I'm in the middle of the trenches with a million dollars doing fucking interview, that is why."

In spite of Lil Durk's comment, Drake is still the bigger artist overall, He is THE MOST STREAMED ARTIST IN THE UNITED STATES IN 2022 so far with 1.4 billion plays across all the platforms, and the No.2 on that list is Durk's rival NBA YOUNGBOY with 1.3 billion streams.

LIL DURK is still enjoying the fruits of "THE DRAKE EFFECT", he explained in his interview his appearance on "LAUGH NOW CRY LATER"  has almost tripled his feature price from 40,000$ to 100,000$. During the interview a Wallo asked DURK to leave the street violence, then he told him a real story about his own brother's death, he said: "  I can name 20 or 30 ni**as of my homies that's dead, but I'm here though, I forgave my brother's killer. I'm saying that to say this. My brother died in my Grandma's arms in the house we grow up in. They shot my brother and he died in the nanny's arms when he opened the door. If I didn't let that sh*t go, I wouldn't be right here for my nieces and nephews and I and Gillie wouldn't be doing this. Y'all wouldn't know me... I had to let that sh*t go. When I let it go, I started to grow up and glow up. It was harder than a muthaf***ka.

As we know, LIL DURK is not the only rapper to say that he is bigger than DRAKE, 21 savage sayes many thinks about being bigger than Drake too. 21savage, the Slaughter Gang rapper that gown up in theEast of Atlanta, after emigrating from London with his mother, he argued that for all of DRAKE's chart dominance, he will never be able to dethrone FUTER as top dog in the ATL streets. In an interview he said: " Ni**asdon't be listening to DRAKE like that where im from, when you ain't no rapper, all them statistics don't mean sh**t. A regular street ni**a don't give a fu**k about how many times you went number1 or how many white people listen to your sh**t, cause they don't even think that far."

He continues: " The farthest they think is the club who is selling this club out? That is who they think is the biggest n***as. In Atlanta it is a lot of n**as who you really can't tell them FUTER ain't bigger than DRAKE. Backing to his bold claim, 21SAVAGE explained how the rapper FUTERE's preeminence in ATLANTA was bolstreated by the ubiquity of his catalog in the mixtape circuit, in the same time DRAKE's discography is more likely to be found in a big-box store than in the hands of local bootlegger. he said: " DRAKE ain't really no big mixtape artist like that, how you got all your DRAKE albums, you probably went in the store and bought them muthafu***s. Every FUTERE album I ever heard was a bootleg. Ni**as was bootlegging it or going to LIVE MIXTAPES, so when NOTHING WAS THE SAME or all that type of sh**t came out, n***a I ain't know how to get to that s**t."  21SAVAGE later on, he went to Twitter to clarify his comment about DRAKE vs FUTURE debate. He tweeted: "Na i said some people that come from where i come frome do... Because when i was younger i was disconnected from mainstream music i didn't know what spotify was until i was a rapper... all we knew was mixtapes.

During his interview with OFF THE RECORD , 21SAVAGE went very far saying that if he wasn't a rapper he would never pay attention to DRAKE's music, " If i wasn't a rapper, i don't feel like i still would listen to Drake, for real," he continue saying more things about DRAKE: " I understand the work he put it and how hard he go," and after that he was claiming that he would have turned down an opportunity to work on KANYE WSET's DONDA out of deference to DRAKE. He say: " I'ma keep it a brick, me personally, i wouldn't have wanted to be on DONDA, That is just type of n**as i am ... i f**k with DRAKE so hard." he also stayed that sometimes you really need to pick a side.
