Drake was born on OCTOBER 24,1986 in TORONTO, CANADA. Drake's full name is AUBREY DRAKE GRAHAM, his mother is Sandi Graham, and his father is Dennis Graham, Drake has only one child named Adonis Graham.
Drake is a very famous rapper, singer, and songwriter, he is known as one of the best rappers of recent time and all time too.
1. CHILDHOOD AND EARLY LIFE :
Drake or Aubrey Drake Graham has a musical background, his father Dennis has worked as a drummer for legendary musician JERRY LEE LEWIS, his mother Sandi was working as an English teacher and she was also a florist.
Drake was born between an AFRICAN-American Catholic father and a withe Canadian Jew mother, what makes him a unique person is that he came from a unique and racial religious background.
When Drake was 5 years old, his parents got divorced, then he was taken and raised by his mother in Toronto. His father came back to America and settled in Memphis, after that Drake was visiting him occasionally.
Drake witnessed a hardship early on in his life, his mother was sick and she was suffering to support the family, his father was arrested while he was trying to cross the border, he faced many types of bullying in his school because he was the only black Jew in a white school.
2. ACTING CAREER :
Drake started acting in 2001, one of his friend's father who was an acting agent gives to Drake an offer which was a role in the Candian teen drama series named "DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION". He played the role of JIMMY BROOKS who was a wheel-chair-bound former basketball, for about 145 episodes. Drake has acted in much more other television series over the years, he played in SOUL FOOD, BEING ERICA, AND SOPHIE. Drake guest appearances in many programs like BEYOND THE BREAK, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and PUNK'D, he also did voice acting too for the famous film ICE AGE.
3. MUSIC CAREER :
After his acting fame, Drake decided to take a step and start to self-release his debut mixtape named "ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT", right after that he dropped another mixtape the following year named "COMEBACK SEASON", it contained a single named "REPLACEMENT GIRL" which earned him widespread recognition as a singer for the very first time. After that Drake founded October's Very Own label to release the mixtape.
Drake has released his third mixtape in 2009 named "SO FAR GONE" which was a free download from the website of his record label. This mixtape consisted of many tracks like "BEST I EVER HAD", "SUCCESSFUL ft LIL WAYN, TREY SONGZ, and LLODY " and so much more, then it becomes a commercial success. Drake released his debut EP by the same name right after the following success of his mixtape, which allowed him to make No.6 in the BILLBOARD 200.
In 2010,15, JUNE Drake released his debut studio album named "THANK ME LATER", this album was under production for the past two years featured many popular and famous artists like NICKI MENAGE, LIL WAYN, KANYE WEST, and a lot more. On single from the album named "FIND YOUR LOVE" has reached the top 10 on the BILLBOARD HOT 100 which made him had an important success.
In 2011,15, NOVEMBER, Drake released his second studio album named "TAKE CARE" he even received a Grammy Award for this album. He did many collaborations in this album like the single "MAKE ME PROUD" featuring NICKI MENAGE and "TAKE CARE" featuring RIHANNA.
In 2013 he released his third album "NOTHING WAS THE SAME", 2016 Drake released his fourth album named "VIEWS", which contained five singles including the Grammy Winning track "HOTLINE BLING" and "POP STYLE" featuring Kanye West and Jay-Z, "TOO GOOD" featuring Rihanna too. In MARCH 2017 Drake released a playlist titled "MORE LIFE", In 2018 he released an EP named "SCARY HOURS", at the same time he dropped his fifth studio album named " SCORPION".
In 2019 Drake in order to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of his third mixtape "SO FAR GONE" released it onto a streaming service.
2020 Drake released a commercial mixtape named " DARK LANE DEMO TAPES", later on, his most famous album was released in JANUARY 2021 named "CERTIFIED LOVERBOY".
4 . AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS :
Drake has been linked with a huge number of women from the entertainment industry, he is the most know on-and-off relationship with beautiful Barbarian singer RIHANNA. In 2005 they had first met when he had a crush on her, later they became so close and even started to work together with a number of times. But in the end, they broke up after Rihanna rekindled her relationship with CHRIS BROWN.
In 2012 Drake was involved in a fight with Chris Brown reportedly over Rihanna, Chris Brown has blamed him on social media and he even released a sound in which he was criticizing him.
2012 ERICKA LEE revealed that she is Drake's ex-girlfriend, she claimed that Drake used her voice in his song "MARVINS ROOM", she even filed a lawsuit seeking the credits and royalties, at the same time Drake's lawyer refuted the claims.
Later in 2016 Drake started dating JENNIFER LOPEZ, they were posting pictures together on their social media accounts, then it has been reported that his attempts at getting Rihanna back to him have really affected his relationship with J-Lo.
In 2017 his son was born, he named him ADONIS he is from a French mother who was a painter and model named SOPHIE BRUSSAUX.
