As evidenced by a recent Instagram Live session in which he said he wanted to smack Willow Smith, Will Smith's daughter, over her letter to 2Pac. In a crazy outburst, Kodak Black said he'd have whupped up Willow Smith, Will Smith's daughter, for allegedly writing a letter to Tupac Shakur.
Kodak went on Instagram Live on Friday (April 8) to complain about Will Smith and the penalty he received from the Film Academy for hitting Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars Awards on Sunday. The rapper then got a bit carried away regarding Willow, Will's daughter. Willow wrote a letter to Tupac when she was 11 years old, according to a popular TikTok video featuring relationship specialist Kevin Samuels delivering a supposed letter Willow wrote to Tupac when she was 11 years old. She wrote: “Dear Tupac, I know you are alive someplace. I think that my mommy really misses you,” the missive reads. “Can you please come back? Can you come back so [mommy] and I can be happy! I wish you were here...I really do. Love, Willow.”
In addition, Kodak claimed that if he were Willow's father, he would punish her for writing to a deceased person, he said "I would have whupped Willow’s fuckin’ ass, homie. "I would have whupped her stupid ass. Snatch my belt off, homie, and whupped her dumb ass. And bitch you’re on time out, punishment," he added. "I ain’t doin’ that shit. Time out. I ain’t fuckin’ with you. Matter of fact, I ain’t cho daddy."
Then during the live Kodac Black said that Will should bring a new wife and adopt a new daughter in his opinion: "Man fuck that. Go get yourself a young tenderoni," he said. "Go get yourself some shit that’s about 18 years old. Get you some shit that’s about 22 [years old]. And fuck around adopt you a baby. Go ahead and get a whole other daughter," he continued. "Adopt you the one who is going to praise you, gonna cherish you. Bitch, you supposed to be my daddy’s girl, bitch. You are supposed to be my daughter. Daughters are supposed to love their daddy. That shit is crazy as fuck." Right after this, he asked his fans to tell Will Smith to call him so he could help him out.
Many others in Hip Hop, including Benzino, have referenced Pac's name in the weeks after Will Smith's smack of Chris Rock at the Academy Awards. When asked about the slap, the former Source publisher stated that things may have progressed to the point where Will Smith would have been killed as a result of his actions. Benzino said in one of his interviews: “When I hear people say — especially women — ‘he deserved it, I’m like, what if Will left, had gone to the party, and then Will Smith’s car got shot up like 2Pac’s? Then everybody’s mourning and going crazy. No, it shouldn’t have happened. Will should have held some constraint and some professionalism, and if it was that bad, bring your wife and check him backstage.”
