Cardi B's next single "Hot Shit" has just become much hotter. Following a teaser earlier in the day on Monday (June 27), the Grammy-winning rapper confirmed that Kanye West and Lil Durk will be joining her on the song. Cardi B revealed the good news via the single's sexy cover art, which shows her in the back of a fancy automobile wearing a metallic bikini with matching sunglasses and heels. The names of all three painters are listed at the bottom of the photograph.
The song will be the artist's first since last year's "Up," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs list for a week in March 2021. "Up" came after "WAP," a Megan Thee Stallion duet that topped the Hot 100 for four weeks in 2020. Ye hinted in January that he had written a verse for Cardi, but he didn't provide a release date. "My cousins were like 'Come by here' yesterday, but I was completing, I was finishing the verse for your girl, you know what I mean," he said to Hollywood Unlocked, alluding to the "I Like It" rapper. "I've had faith in her since she was on [Love & Hip-Hop], period."
