Kanye West Drops Out of 2022 Rolling Loud Miami, Replaced by Kid Cudi
On Sunday afternoon, the festival announced that Kid Cudi will be taking Ye's place. "Ye will no longer be playing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022 due to circumstances beyond our control." "Please welcome @KiDCuDi!" says the tweet. Cudi also verified the news on Twitter, adding, "Rager boy arriving!"

Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler, co-founders of Rolling Loud, also made a comment addressing the news, telling Complex via email, "We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022." We spent months working on the performance with him and his staff.

Unfortunately, Ye has decided to retire from performing. This is the first time a headliner has missed our concert, and while we are disappointed, we wish him the best. We are excited to have Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and can't wait to see what he has in store."

Kanye West would headline the Miami event alongside Future and Kendrick Lamar from July 22-24 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Kanye also backed out of Coachella as a headliner for the festival's two weekends in April. After being in the public glare, arguing with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, he appears to have canceled due to personal issues.

Ye last performed in Miami in February to deliver another Donda experience. "Throughout all of these Donda listening sessions, Kanye has exhibited his work, presenting his content in a warts-and-all style that's really raw and transparent," Complex's Eric Skelton said. It's sometimes lovely. It becomes gloomy at times. It's frequently perverted. But it will always make the music world sit up and take notice.
