“If a nigga wants smoke, stop,” the ‘Struggle’ rapper Rollie bands wrote on his Story yesterday.
Rollie Bands, an aspiring rapper from Tampa, Florida, was reportedly shot and killed over the weekend just minutes after challenging his enemies to meet him at his apartment.
According to Fox 13, deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said on Friday that they were investigating a murder at the IQ Apartments on Bruce B Downs Boulevard (July 22).
The incident occurred only five minutes after Rollie Bands posted on Instagram Stories, "A lot of them n-gas know where I live at fr. I sleep soundly. If an n-gga wants to smoke, I'll be there in 5 minutes."
After the suspects had departed the area, Hillsborough County authorities got a report of a man shot in the parking lot of the apartment complex. According to them, the guy was brought to a nearby hospital but died as a result of his injuries. The victim, according to investigators, knew the accused.
Over the years, social media has been linked to a number of homicides. Pop Smoke died in 2020 after unintentionally revealing the address of his Hollywood Hills rental on Instagram. He was later the target of a home invasion, which ended in his tragic death.
