Kendrick Lamar is a rapper and songwriter from the United States. He is a critically and financially successful musician who began his musical career as a youngster. He started his musical career by making mix tapes under the alias K-Dot. At the age of sixteen, he secured his first musical deal with record company Top Dawg Entertainment.
He eventually formed a hip-hop ensemble, issued albums and singles, and actively participated in stage events and tours. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with musicians like Jay Rock, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Game, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.

- Under the nickname K-Dot, Kendrick Lamar published his debut project, a mixtape named 'Youngest Head Nigga in Charge,' in 2004 at the age of 16. He began working with the company in 2005, when he released 'Training Day,' a mixtape featuring 26 song recordings.
