Lathan Echols was born in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, on January 25, 2002. When he was two years old, his family relocated to Seattle. His mother reared him and he attended 'Mountlake Terrace High School.'
He subsequently went to 'Shorecrest High School' till the tenth grade. He eventually quit college to concentrate on his singing career. Mosey's career was launched by the late Kari Cash, one of Seattle's most prominent rappers.
