Megan Thee Stallion's Childhood, Age, Family, Biography, Awards & More
Megan Pete, sometimes known as Megan Thee Stallion, is an American rapper who was the first female rapper to be signed to the American record company 300 Entertainment. While in college, the Texas girl rose to prominence for the first time thanks to digital media.

Since then, Thee Stallion has exploited the digital platform to break into the mainstream music industry. She has utilized the video and image-sharing medium Instagram to advertise her free-styling abilities and has amassed a sizable fan base.

Since her debut in 2017, she has released two extended plays and several successful songs as a lead artist. Thee Stallion has also been in the videos of well-known artists such as Olubowale Victor Akintimehin (aka Wale) and Danielle Bregoli (known as Bhad Bhabie). In 2019, she released her debut studio album, 'Fever.'

Career :

Thee Stallion began rapping in her teens, and her rhymes had a significant amount of sexual themes. She once engaged in a 'cypher war' with males at Prairie View A&M University in Texas, which drew a lot of attention on social media. She employed digital media extensively following this episode, understanding the platform's capacity to propel her to success.

She began creating her own rap videos and using her Instagram account to reach out to the public. As she gained more followers, the digital platform proved to be very effective. She began to make a name for herself on the platform by uploading freestyle videos to her account.

'Rich Ratchet,' her first mixtape, was released in 2016. It featured popular songs such as 'Like a Stallion.' In 2017, Thee Stallion released her debut extended play, 'Make It Hot,' to rave reviews on social media. The video for 'Last Week in H TX' has over six million views on YouTube. She received a record deal with 1501 Certified Ent. and went on to play at several music events, including South by Southwest.

Family & Personal Life :

Megan Pete was born in Houston, Texas, on February 15, 1995, to Holly Thomas, a famous rapper known by the stage name Holly-Wood. Her mother raised her and used to take her to the studio when she was recording.

Her mother encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a rapper. She did, however, want Megan to develop before entering the industry. Holly Thomas was wary of her daughter's lyrics and the song's"sexual and ratchet' nature.
After a brief hiatus, Thee Stallion returned to Texas Southern University in 2019 to pursue a degree in health care.
