Compton rapper Kee Riches was gunned down in the famous California area only weeks after PNB Rock was shot and died inside a Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in South L.A. Police were rushing to a complaint of a gunshot victim in the vicinity when they realized the 23-year-old rapper had been fatally shot, according to reports.
Along with Riches, a 29-year-old male named Robert Leflore Jr. and an unnamed lady were found with gunshot wounds at the Compton South Chester address. The lady was brought to a local hospital and is in stable condition, while Leflore and Riches died on the spot.
Riches was well-known in his town as an artist who cared deeply about his community. The From Broke To Rich rapper's major ambition, like that of West Coast superstar Nipsey Hussle, was to help restore his Compton city. Riches remarked on Nipsey Hussle's influence on his life after his death in 2019, telling L.A. Taco, "Nipsey Hussle was the embodiment of a street soldier, a real hustler." He was that man as a man, a father, and a hustler."
