After The Super Bowl Halftime Show Wins An Emmy, 50 Cent And The Game Trade Shots On Social Media
After the former's accomplishment at the 2022 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, 50 Cent and The Game's long-simmering enmity has been resurrected once more. 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige received three Emmys for their Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show over the weekend, including Outstanding Variety Special (Live), Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special (Area), and Outstanding Music Direction.
Following the announcement of the awards, 50 turned to social media to mock his long-running adversary while celebrating his first Emmy victory."I just won my Emmy Award [clapping emojis] for the Super Bowl halftime show." LOL," he stated on Instagram before adding a shot of The Game appearing furious with the caption: "No Caption Needed [grinning face emojis]."
On Instagram, the Compton native retaliated by uploading an old photo of 50 Cent wearing a sleeveless top. “No caption needed [grinning face emojis],” he wrote. “#SpicyAssN-gga [hot pepper emoji] #whatYoEyeBrowDoin ? Lol #yoTieBlowingInTheWindLol.”
Hours later, the G-Unit mogul reacted by uploading a GIF of himself laughing in a car meme, ridiculing The Game's reported first-week sales of Drillmatic: Heart Vs. Mind.
The Game admits to being "hurt" that he wasn't invited to play at the Super Bowl in a June interview with the I Am Athlete podcast, despite being a former Dr. Dre signee and Los Angeles resident.
“Oh no, [confused face emoji] I’m sorry you don’t get one [trophy emoji],” he taunted in the caption. “Then the first week 18k, if you need someone to talk to I’m here for you. LOL.”
