In documents filed, chilling additional details about the final moments of rapper PnB Rock's life have been brought to light. A family of three, including a 17-year-old boy, has become the focus of the homicide investigation.
Authorities are now looking for a fourth suspect who may have informed the rapper's family of his whereabouts.
On September 12, the rapper, whose actual name is Rakim Allen, was robbed and shot in broad daylight at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles, in front of his fiancée, horrified diners, and employees. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The Los Angeles Police Authority has accused Freddie Lee Trone, his son, and his wife Shauntel Trone as suspected in the death of PnB Rock. Allen, born and reared in Philadelphia, was 30 years old when he died.
The criminal complaint begins with a description of an unidentified male. Prosecutors claim he observed Allen and his girlfriend wearing costly jewelry when they arrived at Roscoe's.
According to court records, the unknown man waited outside until Freddie Lee Trone arrived. Trone allegedly talked with the two men before leaving and subsequently returned to the restaurant with his son, who authorities said was equipped with a pistol.
