Kanye West has addressed his recent anti-Semitic statements in a new interview, explaining how he's jealous of Jewish culture - WhatsOnRap

In a new interview, Kanye West addressed his recent anti-Semitic feelings, describing how he is jealous of Jewish culture.

According to the interview, Ye was invited to speak on Piers Morgan Uncensored especially to discuss the controversial claims he made recently, including his claim that George Floyd died of an overdose.

Kanye West remarked around midway through the heated conversation that he wanted to "hug every Jewish person," and that he was jealous of various features of Jewish culture.

“I’m envious of how they don’t abort their children,” he said. “I’m envious of how they don’t shoot each other in the streets and then rap about it. I’m envious of how their families stay together. I’m envious that they turn their phones off on Friday nights and the family comes together. I’m envious of how they do business together. And I want that for the darker Jews, I want that for Black people. We need that.”

Such statements were made during his contentious second appearance on Drink Champs, which has now been removed from REVOLT and all streaming platforms.

Kanye West also stated during his chat with Piers Morgan that he feels he should be more aware of how he conveys his ideas.

“I feel that my words demand more sensitivity for the frequency that I’m operating at and the number of people that I’m communicating to,” Ye said. “And I take that responsibility right now.”

However, he made the argument that if his thoughts had been expressed more sensitively, it would not have made space for the recent conversation. He went on to explain that these dialogues had given him the opportunity to demonstrate why "the left" should support him in a future political effort, but that he was not at liberty to declare if he will run for office.

The famous rapper Kanye did, however, urge citizens in the United States and the United Kingdom to support whatever their respective next leaders are, since he feels public criticism hurts any political leader. He also claimed responsibility for several celebrities openly mocking former US President Donald Trump.

“When I hear people like John Legend and Chrissy Tiegen talk down on the president, I’m like, ‘Wow, that kinda sounds like me. That kinda sounds like the telethon.’,” West said. “I opened up this level of disrespect towards our leaders. And the left saw that and said, ‘Well let’s just have every celebrity do what Ye did at the telethon. So I take responsibility for that moment.”
