POP SMOKE’S KILLER SPARKS OUTRAGE WITH PIZZA HUT PRISON PHOTOS - WhatsOnRap

Many people are upset as images of Pop Smoke's alleged killer enjoying a huge Pizza Hut dinner with convicts appeared online.

On Friday (October 7), Akademiks posted photos of the claimed gunman posing with food to his Instagram page. In one shot, the youngster stands in front of a mattress with the Pizza Hut box behind him, and in another, an array of opened pizza boxes is on the mattress while the teen is on his phone.

Fans on social media seemed upset by the pictures and vented their rage in Akademik's comment area. According to the majority of the comments, the 17-year-old should not be able to eat at Pizza Hut after murdering Pop Smoke.

“He killed the Woo he don’t get no pizza,” one person wrote while another said, “And He got the audacity to have all them damn toppings gang.” A third person added: “Bro killed a man over a chain. Death penalty.”

On February 19, 2020, Pop Smoke was killed during an attempted home invasion. Several hooded men broke into the Airbnb home Pop was renting and kidnapped a woman inside. Pop discovered the intruders and agreed to give up his valuables before attempting to fight them, which resulted in Pop being shot.

Six minutes later, police came and discovered Pop Smoke with several gunshot wounds. He was sent to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he died just hours after physicians conducted surgery on him.

The reason for the attempted robbery was apparently Pop Smoke's luxurious Rolex watch, which he flaunted on social media before the shooting and ended up selling for around $2,000.

The suspected triggerman in Pop Smoke's killing was just 15 years old, making him the youngest of the four suspects charged with murder and robbery in the case. During a taped conversation with a cellmate in a juvenile prison center in May 2020, he reportedly admitted to his role in the murder. "He admitted that he shot the victim three times with a Baretta 9 (mm. )," said LAPD Detective Carlos Camacho during preliminary hearings. According to the police, the adolescent "confessed they requested the jewels" and then had "a disagreement" with Pop Smoke before killing him.
