Z-Ro is being jailed in the Harris County Jail after a gun was found in his car during a traffic encounter in his hometown of Houston.
On Friday (October 14), Harris County Constable Mark Herman revealed on his official Facebook account that the rapper, Joseph McVey, had been pulled over in the 7500 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy W. Z-Ro, who is a convicted felon, quickly recognized himself and notified the arresting officers that he was in possession of a firearm.
The type of weapon recovered was not specified in the post. Authorities discovered 4.7 ounces of marijuana after an additional examination.
“Joseph Mcvey was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm,” Herman wrote. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
