Alicia Keys Set to Perform at Takeoff’s Funeral - WhatsOnRap

Alicia Keys is set to perform at Takeoff’s funeral tomorrow at State Farm Arena.

Alicia Keys has been revealed as the second singer to perform at TakeOff's sold-out public memorial ceremony in Atlanta this week.

According to TMZ, Alicia Keys will play at the tribute on Friday (November 11) at State Farm Arena. There are no details on what she might sing or how much of the funeral program she will take part in.

While specifics about TakeOff's memorial ceremony are limited, Justin Bieber has announced that he will play at the sorrowful occasion.

On the other hand, Alicia Keys was never able to record with the dead musician before his death in the early hours of November 1. She was, however, one of many celebrities who turned to social media to express their condolences after learning of TakeOff's death.

Despite his family and close associates gathering in Atlanta for a private candlelight vigil over the weekend, preparations for a bigger public memorial service were revealed on Monday (November 7).

Free tickets to the funeral ceremony at State Farm Stadium, which seats 20,000, were made available to Georgia residents only through Ticketmaster.

Reverend Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church, which had the late Migos artist and his family among its flock, will officiate the funeral, according to Atlanta radio station V-103.

Reverend Curney said in a statement, "I was really sad to hear the news." "Kirshnik has been a faithful member since 10 years old ." He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community."

Since the news of TakeOff's passing broke last week, tributes have been flooding in from all across the Hip Hop scene. Authorities say they were told about an altercation at the 810 Billiards and Bowling in downtown Houston around 2:30 a.m.
