GloRilla stunned the audience at the 2022 American Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 20) when he brought out Cardi B for the first television performance of "Tomorrow 2."
The 23-year-old MC pumped up her bike on stage in front of a bright red city skyline and plunged straight into her Billboard Hot 100 top 10 smashes, with her backing dancers pumping her up and their shiny, dazzling attire lighting the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
No one expected Cardi to come in a purple convertible and launch into her X-rated segment of the song. While the AMAs telecast couldn't handle the heat and bleeped out the majority of Cardi's memorable verse, the affection between her and Glo was palpable as they sweetly tapped each other's elbows during their impressively coordinated choreography.

Just after their performance, Glo and Cardi shared a tender embrace in one of the show's most touching moments. Both artists were nominated for best female hip-hop artist at the 2022 AMAs, but Nicki Minaj won.
Glo received her first Grammy nomination last week for the Hitkidd-assisted "F.N.F. (Let's Go)," which is nominated for best rap performance.
“I’m in disbelief. I don’t think this is happening for real. "This is crazy," she told Billboard. "My team let me know, but I had to go look it up myself because I ad thought maybe they was playing." But, as seen by her performance this evening, the hip-hop newbie is only getting started.
