EST Gee is in critical condition. The rapper from Louisville, Kentucky recently revealed that he is losing vision in one of his eyes.
Gee released a since-deleted video on his Instagram Story on Friday (Nov. 25), revealing that he has a cataract in one of his eyes.
The CMG artist in the video aims his camera phone at his eye, where a foggy film seems to cover a section of his eyeball. "Look at that cataract developing over my eye, it's just getting worse. It's more difficult to see. It's growing in size, "In the video, he says.
Although he is not legally blind, the 28-year-old rhymer revealed that he was going to have further cancer procedures but couldn't due to the epidemic and forgot about it.
"See that grey film over my eye...I can't see shit for real," he continued. "What do I do?"
"HOW CAN I STOP THIS GREY PART FROM SPEADING I USE TO COULD SEE A LIL BIT BUT ITS GETTING WORSE I'M STARTING TO SEE," EST Gee captioned the video.
It's unknown whether EST's injured eye is linked to his 2019 shooting, in which he was shot five times, one of which struck him in the eye. Hopefully, he will see an ophthalmologist right away so that his vision can be repaired.
