JAY-Z has jumped in on the controversy over Drake's alleged Megan Thee Stallion slur. Drake and 21 Savage released their joint album Her Loss on Friday, which many believe is a diss track aimed at the Houston hottie. Drake raps about a lady who lies about having "shots" on "Circo Loco," which might be a reference to Megan, who was wounded in the foot while in a vehicle with Tory Lanez in July 2020.
"This bitch lied about getting shots, but she still a stallion / She don't even get the joke, but she still smiling," he raps on the single produced by Boi-1da and Tay Keith.
Just moments after the song dropped, Meg responded by calling out Drake. “I know I’m very popular but y’all gotta stop attaching weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name lol,” she tweeted. “Ni**as nor hoes EVER address me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts. She continued to rip the OVO rapper for seemingly supporting Tory. “Stop using my shooting for clout bitch ass Ni**as! JAY-Z now looks to be supporting Megan, who is managed by his firm Roc Nation. His "sc" Twitter account liked and then unfollowed a post from BET News presenter Marc Lamont Hill, who defended Megan in the aftermath of Drake's alleged insult.
