A$AP Rocky and A$AP Relli have agreed to put their civil case surrounding their claimed 2021 Hollywood sh**t on hold.
According to RadarOnline, Rocky and Relli decided to put the lawsuit on hold until the criminal matter involving the sh**ting is finished.
Rocky's legal motion stands to reason since he may use his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination or making remarks that could be used against him by the prosecution.
In an August courtroom in Los Angeles, the A$AP Mob frontman pleaded not guilty to two assault counts including the use of a semiautomatic weapon.
Rocky is charged of firing several sh*ts at a former associate and early A$AP Mob member after a "heated altercation" in Hollywood last year.
“The argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim,” LAPD said in a statement. “The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sought his medical treatment. Following the sh**ting, the suspect and two additional males fled the area on foot.”
A$AP Rocky was detained by officials after departing an aircraft at LAX in April; he promptly paid a $550,000 bail. In August, Relli came forward and claimed to be the victim of the sh**ting.
He said that gunsh*t fragments from the incident wounded his hand. According to Relli's legal team, the event has resulted in “multiple death threats and irreparable harm to his career in the entertainment industry as a result of this incident.”
A$AP Rocky has denied any wrongdoing, and his attorney has called Relli's case an extortion effort. "Rocky didn't commit a crime," he added. "It was an extortion attempt by a former associate who threatened to make false criminal accusations if Rocky didn’t pay him.”
