Sonic Ranch, Lil Yachty's upcoming studio album, has purportedly been leaked. Following his 2020 album Lil Boat 3 and last year's Michigan Boy Boat mixtape, the LP was scheduled to be his fifth studio LP. On Sunday, December 25, songs from the project were uncovered online for the first time.
Yachty was said to be releasing Sonic Ranch next month, along with a mixtape from the rapper's label Concrete Boys.

People were looking forward to hearing what route the rapper would take after cryptically labeling the record a "non-rap album." Sonic Ranch was speculated to be Yachty's "alternative" new sound, plunging further into psychedelic production aspects akin to Tame Impala.
Yachty has yet to comment to the uproar, other than a sad face emoji in response to one fan's complaint of the leak on Twitter.

Now, it's unclear if the rapper would release the full album early, scrap it completely, or continue to wait until the scheduled release date. In the meanwhile, the leaked album has been deleted from YouTube.
