 Metro Boomin is a well-known American hip-hop producer, DJ, and songwriter. In a short amount of time, he has established himself as one of the world's most productive and influential music producers. He began his career in music production while still in school at the age of 16. At the age of 19, he launched his own mixtape

He has already worked with major hip-hop and rap artists such as Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj, 'Migos,' Future, and Gucci Mane at the age of 24. He is one of the most in-demand music producers in the United States.

Childhood & Early Life :

Metro Boomin was born on September 16, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Lamont and Leslie Wayne. His family is from Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. He has four brothers and sisters. When he was in third grade, his parents divorced. He was reared by his mother after that.

In St. Louis County, he attended 'Parkway North High School.' In his middle-school band, he enjoyed playing bass guitar. His mother purchased him a laptop when he was 13 years old and in seventh grade. He downloaded the music creation program 'FruityLoops' and began making beats on his laptop.

Career :

  • When Metro was a student at the elite 'Morehouse College,' his song 'Karate Chop,' performed by Future and featuring Lil Wayne, off Future's album 'Honest,' became a smash. He dropped out of college to pursue music production as a full-time job after being unable to reconcile his life as a music producer and a college student.
  • '19 & Boomin,' his debut mixtape, was released in 2013. In 2014, iLoveMakonnen's single 'Tuesday,' featuring Drake, peaked at number 12 on the 'Billboard US Hot 100' list and second on the 'Billboard US R&B' chart.   • Metro Boomin released two studio albums and a mixtape in 2017. 'Without Warning' and 'Double or Nothing' were the albums, while 'Perfect Timing' was the mixtape. 'Without Warning' peaked at number four on the Billboard US 200 and number two on the Billboard Top US R&B/Hip-Hop charts, respectively.
