‘SOS’ Becomes SZA's First Ever No.1 On The Billboard 200 - WhatsOnRap

SZA earns her first #1 album as “SOS” debuts at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200 selling 318,000 units first week.
SZA has achieved her first No. 1 album. According to HitsDailyDouble, Grammy-winner SOS may debut at the top of the Billboard 200, selling 315,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. SZA's 2017 debut LP, Ctrl, launched and peaked at No. 3 with 60,000 copies sold.

Midnights, Taylor Swift's latest full-length release, remains at No. 2 with 137,000 album equivalent sales. Metro Boomin's Heroes & Villains (No. 3), Drake and 21 Savage's Her Loss (No. 4), and Michael Buble's Christmas (No. 5) round out the Top 5. (No. 5).

Following the release of SOS, SZA revealed last week that she will embark on her first-ever stadium tour, which will include special guest Omar Apollo. "It's time to take this shit on the road," SZA said upon releasing the official tour flier.

The North American tour begins on February 21 in Columbus, Ohio, and stops in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Austin, Seattle, and other cities before concluding on March 22 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

However, the TDE singer-songwriter teased at moving away from the limelight in a recent interview with Consequence.

Following the release of SOS, SZA announced last week that she will embark on her first stadium tour, with special guest Omar Apollo. "It's time to get this shit on the road," he says. SZA stated when the official tour flyer was released.

Moreover, in a recent interview with Consequence, the TDE singer-songwriter hinted at stepping away from the spotlight. "I'm going to vanish for as long as I can," she says. 

When questioned about her post-SOS plans, she said: "I need to make as many videos as possible. I'm going to vanish for as long as I can,"
