Dedrick Williams, a suspected in XXXTENTATION's murder, is now claiming Drake would be involved in the murder. Williams' attorney, Mauricio Padillio, claims lines from Drake's songs that appear to reference the late rapper in court documents.
Drake's recent album Her Loss, specifically "On BS," in which he raps: "Maybe I should break that 10, do a five, then if it gets live, do a five again/If he held his tongue on that live, he'd be alive again, damn/I never put no prices on the beef until we end this s###."
The docs also mention the Scorpion song "I'm Upset," from 2018, which includes the lyrics: "SMS, triple X/the That's only time I ever shoot below the neck (Skrr)/Why you keep shootin' if you know that n-gga dead? (Skrr)."
Williams and his legal team believe the feud between XXXTENTACION and Drake began in 2017 with the release of Drake's song "KMT." X began criticizing Drake on social media after accusing him of copying his cadence.
After being instructed to leave Drake alone, he subsequently claimed he was hacked. Padillo also claims Drake has gang ties, including alleged JungleBloods Street Gang member Top5, who was arrested for murder in 2021.
600 Breezy is also accused of being implicated by Williams and his staff. The Chicago rapper, a close friend of Drake's and reputed Gangster Disciple, claimed to be at X's area with a pistol in an Instagram video.
Finally, they said Drake is a member of the Zoe Mafia Family gang, which is also thought to include the other three defendants in XXXTENTACION's case, Robert Allen, Trayvon Newsome, and Michael Boatwright.
The documents go on to discuss Migos' alleged assault on XXXTENTACION. Despite the charges, the State is seeking to dismiss all of the prominent rappers' testimony, including Drake's, a strong indication that the State does not believe the claims.
