According to Vlad, if convicted of murder in the YSL case, Young Thug will face life in jail. While others, like Gunna, accept plea bargains in return for freedom, Young Thug is preparing for his trial, which begins on January 4th.
Vlad claims to have just received information from a lawyer involved in the YSL case.
“So I just spoke to a lawyer familiar with the YSL case. If Young Thug gets convicted of murder, he will get life in prison,” shared VLAD on Twitter. “Under Georgia law, he will only be eligible for parole after 30 years. If he gets convicted for even 1 count in his RICO case, he’ll get 20 years.”

Vlad's statement comes only days after Young Scooter and Trae Tha Truth arrived in an Atlanta courthouse to show their support for Young Thug. Scooter captioned:
“JUST LEFT COURT WIT [snake emoji] HE GONE BE HOME BEFORE SUMMER.” Trae Tha Truth added a caption to his own post with, “Me & @youngscooter Pulled Up To Court To Support @thuggerthugger1 … Real Ones Need To Stand By Him… He Need Real Luv… Salute!!”
Young Thug has been detained since May after being charged with eight counts. As the Fulton County RICO case progresses, District Attorney Fani Willis issued an 80-page indictment charging the rapper of being the ringleader of the Young Slime Life group.
However at the moment, Thugga, according to Vlad, only has one option that will lead to his freedom: cooperate. “The only realistic way out of this for Young Thug is to fully cooperate against his co-defendants. 300 witnesses will be called to testify in the case. Jury selection for the trial is scheduled to start on January 4th. What do you think Thug will do?”
