Despite not submitting anything of his music for the 2023 Grammys, Drake has earned his first Grammy after four years.
The OVO pop star took home the award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his performance on Future's "Wait For U," which also includes Tems.
The I Never Liked You song premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been certified triple platinum. It beat out Kendrick Lamar's "Die Hard," DJ Khaled's "Beautiful," Jack Harlow's "First Class," and Latto's "Big Energy (Live)."

It avoided Kendrick from winning Best Rap Album (Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers), Best Rap Song ("The Heart Part 5"), and Best Rap Performance ("The Heart Part 5").
Despite not submitting any solo music for selection, Drake received four nominations on the night. His Jack Harlow duet "Churchill Downs" was also nominated for Best Rap Song.
Drizzy was also a contender for Album of the Year because to his co-writing credit on "Heated" from Beyoncé's Renaissance album.
