One of XXXTENTACION's suspected shooters has denied any involvement with Drake in the rapper's 2018 death and denied any communication with the Toronto superstar.
Robert Allen, who pledged to testify against his co-defendants in 2022 after pleading guilty to lesser crimes, informed the court on Friday (February 10) that he had never met Drake and had no idea who X was during the time of his murder.
Whilst being cross-examined by defendant Dedrick Williams' attorney Mauricio Padilla, he gave a sequence of "yes" and "no" replies.

“So your testimony to this court and to this jury is that you were never on the set of [Drake’s] ‘God’s Plan’ video, filmed in Miami in 2018? Is that what you’re saying?,” Padilla is heard asking in footage of the testimony. “How much money in 2018 did you receive from either Drake or one of Drake’s associates?”
Padilla answers to the defendant's claim that he has never managed to meet Drake, saying, "You never met Drake? you know who he is though, right?" Yes, says Allen.
Padilla continues: “But actually, in 2018 when this crime occurred, you didn’t know who X was? In 2018, you’re from Broward County, correct? You listen to rap music, correct? And you’re telling this jury that you didn’t know who literally probably the most famous rapper to ever come out of Broward County was in June of 2018? That’s your testimony?”

XXXTENTACION had previously slammed Drizzy in 2017, accusing him of copying his musical and visual concepts for his "God's Plan" music video.
While the feud looked to be one-sided and never progressed, X's murder in 2018 prompted fans to unearth a series of social media messages from the "Look At Me!" rapper before to his death.
