Travis Scott punches sound engineer at New York club and causes $12,000 in damage according to police.

Travis Scott has remained calm down while working on his upcoming album in the midst of the Astroworld Festival incident. 

Scott has been teasing the arrival of Utopia for a while now, releasing tracks like "Franchise" to build up the hype. But, there have been some encouraging announcements recently, including one from Epic Records CEO who stated that the project will be released in June.

Scott has not set a release date, yet. He has told fans that the album will be available very soon. He recently stated that it will mark the end of a historic run for the Cactus Jack team. At a recent concert, he stated that a new EP from SoFaygo will be released before the release of Utopia

Don Toliver, who just released Love Sick on Friday and its deluxe on Tuesday - Scott featured on the extra track "Embarrassed," produced by Wheezy - kicks off the Cactus Jack 2023 releases. Scott then arrived for Toliver's New York City concert, albeit it appears that things went wrong at some point throughout the evening.

According to Page Six, Travis Scott was identified as a suspect in an alleged assault after an argument on Wednesday morning. According to police, the rapper had an argument with the sound engineer outside the Nebula nightclub about 3 a.m. When things got heated between them, Scott purportedly punched the man in the face and damaged $12K in property. 

Scott reportedly caused damage to a speaker and a video screen before leaving the venue. He was last seen leaving the venue in an unknown vehicle, according to authorities. The alleged altercation's cause has yet to be determined.

Once he submitted his report, the complainant had no signs of injury from the alleged assault and was not in pain, according to police. 

There have been no convictions, but police are looking for Travis Scott after a complaint was filed. If he is apprehended, he will face assault and criminal mischief charges. So yet, neither Travis Scott nor the venue have provided anything about the incident.
