After seven days of discussion, a Florida jury was unable to reach a judgment in the XXXTentacion murder trial.
On Thursday afternoon, the Florida jury has been sent back to their homes (March 16). Judge Michael Usan approved the jury's request for a day break, permitting deliberations to resume on Monday (March 20).
In the shooting of XXXTentacion, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome were charged with first-degree murder. If guilty, they risk life in jail. The murder trial for the trio started in February. The jury began its deliberations last week.

Authorities charged Boatwright, Williams, and Newsome with murdering XXXTentacion in a robbery. Robert Allen, a fourth individual, pled guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the late rapper's death.
Allen testified in the case of Boatwright, Williams, and Newsome. Allen identified Boatwright as the shooter and Newsome as the thief of a Louis Vuitton bag holding $50,000 in cash.
Authorities displayed security video of the heist, which showed two masked individuals confronting XXXTentacion before the deadly rounds were fired. Allen said Williams was the getaway driver.
