While on a trip to Las Vegas, James Harden, a famous member of the Philadelphia 76ers, got into an argument with a close friend. According to TMZ Sports, the argument was recorded and shows Harden fighting with the man before softly touching him on the chest and smacking his face outside of a hotel.
Despite the incident, the two people, who were accompanied by a group of others, appeared to go about their night without incident. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that they were not summoned to the site and that no complaints of a disturbance involving James Harden were received.
According to TMZ witnesses, both of them returned inside the hotel after observing others witnessing the incident, which occurred early Monday morning at about 1:25 a.m. local time. Harden appeared in four games against the Brooklyn Nets, helping the 76ers to their first-round playoff triumph since 1985.
At 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday, the club will face the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at TD Garden.
