Lil Durk on Viral Photo of Him and Young Thug, Said They Vowed To never "Snitch" On Each Other - WhatsOnRap

Lil Durk Honors Promise to Young Thug, Keeping Meme Story Confidential

Lil Durk promised Young Thug that he would not disclose the story behind the two rappers' popular 2018 meme, which depicts the pair intensively staring at what seems to be a computer screen during a studio session.

During a recent interview on DJ Akademiks' Off The Record podcast, the Chicago rapper discussed the viral moment.

“What the fuck was y’all looking at?” Akademiks asked, to which Durk replied: “He told me not to tell nobody.” Ak responded: “That’s the same thing he said. Y’all must have been watching some porn.”

Durk stated that their reciprocal response demonstrates the two rappers' loyalty to one another. "That's how you know we won't go snitch on each other," he explained.

Durk released his latest full-length album, Almost Healed, on Friday. The work is his eighth studio album and the official follow-up to Durkio's 2022 LP 7220.

J. Cole ("All My Life"), Future ("Never Imagined"), 21 Savage ("War Bout It"), Kodak Black ("Grandson"), Rob49 ("Same Side"), Juice WRLD ("Cross The Globe"), Morgan Wallen ("Stand By Me"), Alicia Keys ("Therapy Session"), and Chief Wuk ("Big Dawg") all make appearances on the 21-track project.

Almost Healed features production from Chopsquad DJ ("Pelle Coat," "Never Again," "Put Em On Ice," "Never Imagined"), Metro Boomin ("War Bout It," "Grandson"), Southside ("Before Fajr"), Wheezy ("300 Eruos," "Cross The Globe"), Dr. Luke ("All My Life," "Stand By Me"), and ATL Jacob ("Big Dawg").
