In a quick chat with TMZ, DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club stood up for 50 Cent, firmly believing that the rapper didn't mean to harm a woman in the crowd when he tossed a microphone. He also couldn't resist poking fun at 50's not-so-great track record in throwing things accurately.

"I haven't spoken to 50, he's on tour right now and I know every date is a different city," DJ Envy said in response to the incident where 50 Cent accidentally hit Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain in the head with a thrown microphone. It's a terrible situation. I mean, there's no way in hell 50 would... Everybody sees this big bully online but he's the nicest and [most] caring person, so I know it was probably an accident. I know it was an accident. I mean, things happen. The sound man seemed like they messed up with the sound and, I mean, 50 wasn't aiming for her."

Taking a humorous turn, DJ Envy recalled 50 Cent's infamous pitch at a New York Mets game in 2014. He threw the ball wildly off target, to put it mildly.  "We've seen 50 throw that first pitch at [the] Major League Baseball game, and we've seen how crazy he throws," Envy joked. "I mean, I know that 50 didn't do that on purpose and I know he's very remorseful when it comes to things like that. 50 is a great guy."

Regarding Monegain filing a police report, DJ Envy acknowledged her pain and suffering, saying, "We don't know what she went through, or how crazy her pain was," Envy said. "So you could never say somebody's taking anything too far, but like I said, 50 is my guy and I know 50 will take care of her and make sure that she's good."

While 50 Cent hasn't publicly addressed the incident, his former G-Unit colleague, The Game, expressed his displeasure. "Curtis, your fat ass came to L.A. hittin' women," The Game commented on various screenshots of the incident.

DJ Envy's words reflect his belief that 50 Cent's actions were accidental, adding a touch of humor to the situation while emphasizing 50's character.
