Jada Pinkett Smith Shares Unseen Throwback Clip Lip Syncing to Will Smith with Tupac
Jada Pinkett Smith took a trip down memory lane, sharing a throwback video of her and the late rapper, 2Pac Shakur, dancing and lip-syncing together.
In an Instagram caption, she wrote, "Here is part of the original video of Pac and I doing a terrible job at lip syncing Parents Just Don’t Understand😄."
In another post, the actress and talk show host shared a passage from her upcoming memoir, "Worthy," expressing her disbelief at how intertwined their lives became. She wrote, "Not in a million years would I have dreamed that the Fresh Prince and I would become, um, very acquainted. Not in a million years did I imagine three lives, their fates, would be so intertwined.”
Pinkett Smith has frequently spoken about her enduring friendship with 2Pac. They first met while attending Baltimore School for the Arts, where Jada has revealed she worked as a drug dealer at the time. Their bond remained strong until Shakur's tragic passing in 1996. Will Smith, in a 2020 interview with The Breakfast Club, admitted to feeling a twinge of jealousy about their close connection, even though there was allegedly never a romantic involvement.
In her memoir "Worthy," Jada promises to unveil more untold stories. She shared on Instagram, "On October 17th, I invite you into a journey that, understandably, many think they already know. The fact that I have, in the last four years contributed to the creation and perpetuation of falsehoods about myself, in which other untrue narratives were birthed, has surely aided in the misunderstandings that surround me. This fall, with deep humility and respect, I will take back my narrative.”
