2Pac's Brother Responds to Rumors of Diddy's Involvement in His Murder
Mopreme Shakur, the brother of the legendary 2Pac, recently addressed the swirling rumors linking Diddy to the tragic murder of the iconic rap figure.
Speaking on The Comedy Hype News Show on October 2, Mopreme Shakur shared his thoughts in light of the recent arrest of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who has been charged in connection with 2Pac's 1996 murder.
Mopreme stated, “I don’t have to do anything. This individual [Keefe D] mentioned [Diddy’s] name. Law enforcement has a job to do. Will they do it? It does feel like Pac is being vindicated because back in those days when things were happening, everybody thought he was crazy. He may not have expressed it properly, but that doesn’t mean he was wrong. Ya dig? So we’ll see.”

He further commented, “I’m fortunate enough to have my freedom. I consume media. I’ve seen interviews — these interviews they speak of that they used to land this indictment on this dude I’ve seen 'em, and he’s saying things I got questions about. [Keefe D] mentioned certain people that may be accomplices, so at this point in the game somebody’s accountable. Are they gonna make everybody he’s talking about accountable?”
The arrest of Keefe D by Las Vegas police for Pac’s murder marks a significant development in the 27-year-old case. The 60-year-old former gang member is now facing charges of “murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.”
Keefe D has consistently brought up Diddy in interviews discussing 2Pac’s tragic passing. He reiterated this stance in July, laying blame on the Bad Boy mogul for the decline of the Death Row empire. Keefe D asserted, “If I wouldn’t have ever met [Diddy], I wouldn’t have ever been involved in this bullshit... He made our shit go down, man… He won’t even look out or nothing. Because he pitted us against each other, which was kinda smart. We’re Crips and Suge was Bloods.”
However, it's worth noting that Diddy hasn't engaged in discussions about his alleged involvement in 2Pac’s murder, as he brushed off questions from Charlamagne The God during a 2016 Breakfast Club interview. The mystery surrounding this tragic event continues to captivate and raise questions even after all these years.
