Rick Ross Says He Is Not Squashing Beef With 50 Cent Anytime Sooner - WhatsOnRap

Rick Ross Doubts He and 50 Cent Will Ever Squash Their Beef

Rick Ross Doubles Down: 'Everything 50 Cent Does Sucks'

Rick Ross' animosity towards 50 Cent appears to be an enduring sentiment, with no signs of thawing. He's resolute in his stance, making it clear he doesn't align himself with anything associated with the G-Unit tycoon.

In an expansive interview with Rolling Stone, Rozay expressing his belief that nearly everything 50 does these days falls flat. This sentiment was particularly evident when discussing 50 Cent's biopic, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'."

When the interviewer brought up the film's director, Jim Sheridan, and the alleged impact on his career after the 2005 release, Ross didn't hold back. He remarked, “R.I.P. Look what 50 Cent did to you,” he responded. “But at least he got a movie done about him. He took advantage of the system. But oh, my God, please! Who wants to see a movie about 50?!”

Despite Ross' comments, there's one track featuring 50 Cent that earned a commendation during another interview with Complex. That track is The Game's "Hate It Or Love It."

“I mentioned his mom,” Ross acknowledged. “She was one of those. So I said it in front of the song but the song was produced by Cool & Dre, my homies. So the song was a dope song. But I’ma shit on homie. He ain’t getting no money. If he ever come here ask him, ‘How it feel Rozay getting all that money?'”

As for the feud between Ross and Fif, Rozay doesn't foresee a resolution any time soon. “I doubt it,” he stated regarding the possibility of burying the hatchet. “We ain’t got no jobs for him or nothing. I’m sure he do [need a job].”

Rick Ross On Squashing His Beef With 50 Cent: “I Doubt It”

The enmity between 50 Cent and Rick Ross dates back to the late 2000s. Allegedly, the rift began in 2008 when 50 supposedly gave Rozay a cold reception at an event. 50 later refuted that this encounter ever happened.

In 2009, Ross released “Mafia Music,” a diss track aimed at 50, which included references to Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of 50’s child. She had to evacuate a house due to a fire that the G-Unit rapper owned. In response, 50 released “Officer Ricky (Go Head, Try Me),” escalating the feud with a s*x tape featuring Ross’ baby mother.
