Big Sean Sets the Record Straight on "On the Radar" Freestyle

Big Sean has recently showcased a new level of energy, particularly in his freshly released freestyle recorded at On the Radar studios.

The freestyle, set to Aaliyah's classic "If Your Girl Only Knew," features some notable lines that have stirred speculation among fans.

In the freestyle, Big Sean delivers lines that some listeners interpreted as subtle digs at other artists. Specifically, the Detroit rapper raps:

“N**gas looking for engagement like they got their knee bent / I got better things to do than find someone to beef with / Or else I’m off the deep end.”

Many fans were quick to connect these lyrics to the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

However, Sean himself has warned against jumping to conclusions. In a since-deleted tweet, he urged fans to avoid buying into the "many narratives" being spun around his lyrics.

To address the swirling rumors, Big Sean took to Twitter, expressing frustration with those misinterpreting his words:

“F**k these bch a** n**gas, every one of them.”

In another tweet, he clarified his intentions:

“Y’all goin’ [with] so many narratives. I’m talking to [the] haters who just keep finding something to point out they don’t like ’bout me. It’s not even worth explaining [though]. I’ma just focus on the music.”

Big Sean Clears the Air: "On The Radar" Freestyle Was Not a Diss Track:

DJ Hed, who has previously collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, further clarified the situation.

According to Hed, he spoke with Sean about the freestyle and confirmed that the contentious line was actually aimed at a different "Gemini."

While Hed didn’t specify who, fans were quick to speculate that it referred to Kanye West, another prominent figure in Sean's career and a well-known Gemini.

DJ Hed Debunks Rumors of Big Sean Dissing Kendrick Lamar in "On the Radar" Freestyle:

Ultimately, Big Sean’s freestyle appears to be more about addressing his critics rather than taking shots at fellow artists.

His focus remains on his music, and he continues to push back against any false narratives surrounding his lyrics. As always, Sean’s commitment to his craft and his determination to rise above the noise are evident.
