21 Savage Appears to Diss Kendrick Lamar on Drake’s New Track 'It’s Up'

21 Savage’s Verse in Drake’s “It’s Up” Sparks Kendrick Lamar Diss Rumors

Drake's new release has stirred speculation among fans about a possible diss directed at Kendrick Lamar by 21 Savage

On Tuesday, Drake surprised his followers by dropping a massive 100 gigabytes of content, including three fresh tracks, and an array of behind-the-scenes materials.

One of the standout songs, "It's Up," features 21 Savage and Young Thug, and has quickly become the center of attention.

In his verse on "It's Up," 21 Savage delivers lines that some listeners interpret as a veiled jab at Kendrick Lamar. He raps:

“No rap cap come out my mouth / Made a couple songs, think he hot now / Hit his a** up, he think he Pac now.”

21 Savage Throw Shade at Kendrick Lamar in New Drake Song:

This verse has led to widespread debate on social media about whether it targets Lamar, especially given the recent tension between Drake and the Compton MC.

The potential diss follows a series of high-profile exchanges between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The Toronto rapper had previously taken shots at Lamar through several diss tracks, including "The Heart Part 6," "Family Matters," and "Push Ups."

Despite the heat from Drake, many fans and critics felt that Kendrick Lamar emerged victorious with his counterattack, notably through his track "Not Like Us" and his impressive performance at The Pop Out - Ken & Friends event in Los Angeles.

Drake's substantial content drop includes not just the new songs but also a treasure trove of archival material, including clips from his iconic "Hotline Bling" video shoot and various studio sessions.

The extensive release is part of a busy year for Drake, who has also been working with Camila Cabello and Sexyy Red on recent collaborations.

While Drake has shared glimpses of the new material on his Instagram Story, he has yet to address the diss speculation directly.

Fans remain eager to see if there will be any further developments or responses from Kendrick Lamar in light of this latest release.
