Joe Budden Theorizes Tory Lanez Was Set Up, Megan Thee Stallion a Pawn in Sh**ting Case

A recent statement by Jauquan Smith, Tory Lanez’s former driver, has sparked renewed interest in the ongoing controversy surrounding the sh**ting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion

In his statement, Smith claims he did not see Megan get sh*t but alleges he witnessed her former best friend, Kelsey Harris, take a g*n from Lanez on the night of the incident.

This revelation has ignited discussions across social media and music platforms, including a notable segment on The Joe Budden Podcast.

During the podcast, Joe Budden offered a provocative theory regarding the circumstances of the incident.

He suggested that Lanez might have been set up, distancing Megan from any involvement in the alleged plot.

"First of all, I think it's above her," he explained. "I don't think she made it up. It's above her. She's a mere pawn in this. This play is greater than her. She didn't make nothing up."

Budden further speculated that the firearm used to injure Megan was planted in Lanez’s vehicle.

He indicated that while he wouldn’t disclose names, he has strong suspicions about who orchestrated this scenario.

"I ain't gon' say who I think made it up but it wasn't her, Actually, ni**gas out there know who it is. I ain't saying it on this broadcast but I know exactly who it is, I know how that g*n got there, I know who g*n it was."

The conversation then shifted to Kelsey Harris, who has played a crucial role as a witness in the case.

Budden recalled an intriguing exchange he had with Harris, highlighting her recent attempt to silence discussions about the incident.

“The last time we talked about this sh*t, Kelsey [Harris] jumped in my DMs talking ’bout, 'Hey, don't talk about this no more.' Why? You got immunity. It's odd. Why wouldn't you want somebody to talk about one of the biggest cases in however many years? That was odd to me."

Listeners found Budden’s insights to be thought-provoking, as they pondered the motivations behind Harris's comments and the underlying factors driving this complex situation.

The podcast episode has contributed to a broader discourse surrounding the case, pushing fans and industry insiders to reevaluate what they know about the events leading to the sh**ting.
