Cam'ron believes that with the game taking place in the Big Easy, Lil Wayne should have been the obvious choice to perform.

“I love Kendrick Lamar, I loved the pop-out, I think he’s one of the top artists of this generation, period. Hate the selection. It’s in New Orleans, and you don’t get Lil Wayne? That’s what we doing…not just Hot Boyz, Cash Money, all the songs Lil Wayne has done, whether it’s Blink 182…there’a no reason why Lil Wayne should not be performing at the Super Bowl.”
Referring to Wayne’s legacy as a member of the Hot Boyz and the Cash Money Records roster.
Cam'ron did not hold back when he suggested that JAY-Z played a role in Wayne's exclusion from the Super Bowl lineup.
