Benzino Wants Peace with Eminem After Years of Feuding

Benzino Seeks to Reconcile with Eminem: "I Don’t Want to Be His Enemy Anymore"

Benzino Wants to Squash Beef with Eminem, Focus on Positivity and Friendship

Benzino appears ready to leave the past behind as he opens up about his desire to reconcile with Eminem and focus on more positive energy.

In a recent interview with TMZ Hip-Hop, the 59-year-old Boston native reflected on his long-running feud with the rap icon and revealed that he’s ready to move on, embracing peace over negativity.

He also shared his thoughts on his daughter Coi Leray's rekindled relationship with Trippie Redd.

During the interview, Benzino addressed his decades-old beef with Eminem, expressing that he no longer holds any ill will.

In fact, Benzino congratulated Em for recently becoming a grandfather, proving he’s moved past the animosity.

"At 59 years old enough is enough like come on man. Like, listen you know I have four children. I'm not a grandfather yet. The irony is that he did say nobody wanted to hear their grandpa rap on ['Nail in the Coffin'], After all these years I'm saying man wouldn't it be something if he was a grandfather before me? I swear I used to think that."

Benzino Expresses Desire to End Feud and Be Friend Eminem:

Continuing with his positive outlook, Benzino emphasized that their past beef was simply a product of the competitive nature of hip-hop.

"Eminem has touched a lot of people. Our situation, back-and-forth I just want everybody to know it's hip-hop. Battling in hip-hop has been since day one okay and I don't want people to think that I wish any harm on him or any bad intentions, streetwise."

Benzino also touched on how squashing their feud would benefit the hip-hop community. He expressed his desire to sit down with Eminem and have a real conversation, stating:

"I really wanna be this guy's friend, I don't wanna be his enemy no more.... I just feel like I'm at the age where I wanna lead by example."

The former "Source" magazine owner admitted that putting their feud to rest would help ease the social media backlash he’s often faced, hinting that the online heat has only intensified over the years.

On another note, Benzino briefly discussed his daughter, Coi Leray, and her relationship with Trippie Redd.

Though he hasn't met the rapper yet, Benzino shared that his father has, jokingly mentioning that Redd smokes "a lot," but he ultimately approves of him.

With Benzino looking to reconcile and embrace positivity, he’s setting an example for both hip-hop veterans and the next generation.
