French Montana Sued For $50K After Florida Shooting That Injured 10 People – WhatsOnRap

A person alleges he was an extra in a Florida music video with Rob49 where a gunshot occurred earlier this year, and has sued French Montana for $50,000.

According to TMZ, Carl Leon has filed a lawsuit against French in connection with the January 6 shootout, which injured ten individuals.

Montana says it was a case of “wrong place, wrong time” since he was celebrating at The Licking in Miami Gardens, whilst Leon claims he was invited to be an extra in the making of a music video for French and Rob49’s “Igloo” collaboration.

According to the lawsuit, The Coke Boys commander relocated to the neighboring restaurant following a heist across the street involving production personnel and the perpetrators, who opened fire and injured ten people.

Leon is suing for $50,000 in damages as a result of French Montana‘s and others’ carelessness during the video filming.

During the January shooting, Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt called out French, saying they should have been warned so that correct processes could have been put in place to perhaps minimize the violence that occurred.
