Kanye West sparked outrage among Black people last week when he designed a t-shirt that read “White Lives Matter.” Since that day, according to Media Take Out, Black people from all over the world have slammed Ye and some even called for a boycott of his music and products.
Yesterday, world-famous hip-hop artist Willie D of The Geto Boys may have gone too far. Instead of shooting at Kanye, he directed his venomous words at Kanye’s late mother, Donda West.
Kanye West‘s mother, Dr. Donda West, seems to have been a social rights activist and college professor. She died as a consequence of issues after a stomach tuck.
Fans on social media are furious with Willie D, a Human Rights activist, for tweeting a derogatory message about Ye’s mother.
Willie D is a rapper best known as a member of the Geto Boys, a Houston rap trio that also includes Bushwick Bill and Scarface. He maintains and routinely uploads videos of social commentary on his YouTube account. WillieD Live’s channel had over 200 million video views as of July 2021.
