50 Cent Reveals Eminem Turned Down 8M To Perform At The World Cup – WhatsOnRap

50 Cent is currently on the road presenting Black Mafia Family Season 2, and he went by Big Boy’s Neighborhood.

The rapper has been questioned about his connection with Eminem and the NFL Super Bowl halftime show on show. During the chat, 50 mentioned that he and Eminem were approached about performing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

“My relationship with Em is a lot more texting cause I’m moving a lot. Because of the Super Bowl I got an inquiry about the World Cup and they had a budget of nine million dollars for it. I would have took one big. And then another eight… I’m just saying, if you do one-off show maybe you would do the biggest live sporting event in the world. I talked to Paul Rosenberg and everybody around him and he was like ‘Em’s not gonna do it.’”

Within certain divisions, the rapper hinted at new music with Dr. Dre. “As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoken to Dre and that Dre is there with some crazy stuff for me to go hear,”
Fifty explained. “This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”
