Quavo & Offset Fight Backstage At Grammys Before Takeoff Tribute – WhatsOnRap

Backstage at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, the members of Migos allegedly got into a violent altercation. The incident occurred just before Quavo took the stage to pay tribute to Takeoff as part of the “In Memoriam” segment, according to TMZ.

The feud erupted after the Grammys allegedly invited Offset to be a part of the tribute, but Quavo declined. Offset was reportedly barred from joining him on stage to commemorate his fellow Migos member. Quavo instead performed his melancholy ballad “Without You” with Maverick City Music.

According to sources, they had to be separated and Offset did not instigate the fight.

Offset went to the Grammys with his wife Cardi B, who introduced the Best Rap Album award. During the “In Memoriam” performance, the pair was not seen in the crowd.

Before  Takeoff’s death in November, the two had been feuding. While Offset continued his own career, Quavo and Takeoff created a partnership and released their joint album Only Built for Infinity Links.
