Dame Dash Reacts to 50 Cent Taking Over ‘Paid In Full’ Rights and Teaming Up With Cam’ron for New Series

Dame Dash Responds to 50 Cent Acquiring ‘Paid In Full’ Rights and Teaming Up With Cam’ron for TV Series

Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent just shook the streets with his latest power move, acquiring the rights to the 2002 cult-classic “Paid in Full” and announcing plans to flip it into a high-end TV series.

But while many fans are hyped, Dame Dash is definitely not feeling the vibes. Taking to Instagram, Fif revealed the news by posting the original “Paid in Full” movie poster, writing:

“I now have the rights to PAID IN FULL, I’m developing it into a premium TV show. If you like the Godfather of Harlem, you’re gonna love this.”

The announcement didn’t just grab attention because of 50 Cent’s TV track record, it also came with the reveal that Cam’ron, who played the iconic Rico (inspired by Harlem legend Alpo Martinez), is on board as an executive producer.

That collab hit a nerve for Dame Dash, who was instrumental in bringing the original film to life.

As a co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and one of the main forces behind the movie’s release, Dame sees Paid in Full as one of his legacy projects.

Dame quickly fired back on IG with a sarcastic jab, he captioned the post:

“Congratulations on making @50cent your new boss @mr_camron ? wish yall the best of luck.”

Dame Dash Responds to 50 Cent’s ‘Paid In Full’ TV Deal With Cam’ron:

The drama didn’t stop there, as Cam’ron hit back in true Dipset fashion, calling Dame out in the comments:

“U really turned into a chatty patty damn… You only doing this for clicks, this the most action u got in ya Channel EVER. You welcome. For now on my lil ni**a. Lolol. Go to the store for me real quick.”

Tensions escalated when Dame claimed that people in Cam’s camp tried to reach out to his son, Boogie Dash, seemingly trying to go around him.

While he admits Cam didn’t contact Boogie directly, Dame strongly implied that the move wasn’t random.

This clash brings together three major forces in hip-hop: Dame Dash, who helped shape early 2000s rap culture; Cam’ron, a Harlem legend with a timeless influence; and 50 Cent, the TV mogul who’s turned street narratives into global franchises.

As the drama unfolds, fans are left wondering, will the “Paid in Full” reboot live up to the legacy, or will the behind-the-scenes beef overshadow the show? Either way, the culture’s watching.
